Mechanical Design Engineer for E-Mobility Solutions

About the Role:

Titan Industries is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative e-mobility solutions. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for electric vehicles, including power electronics and electronic control units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and dimension mechanical components, such as milling and casting parts, plastic parts, and stamping and bending parts.
  • Develop and evaluate mechanical solutions with regard to package, costs, assembly, and manufacturability.
  • Integrate electronic assemblies in coordination with specialist departments.
  • Examine design and manufacturing documents.
  • Evaluate and implement FEM/CFD analyses and calculations.
  • Support and evaluate validation.
  • Communicate and coordinate design with manufacturing partners.
  • Participate in the creation of offers, planning, and allocation of work packages.
  • Implement development projects as the main contact person of the sub-project manager.

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in design.
  • Manufacturing-oriented design with various materials and manufacturing processes (milling, casting, stamping, bending, turning, gluing, pressing).
  • Very good CAD knowledge, preferably CREO knowledge in handling FEM/CFD analyses.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
  • Basic knowledge of the product development cycle and quality requirements in the automotive or aviation industry.
