At TCP Reliable Manufacturing, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Accounts Receivable invoices for customers, including fulfilling sales orders, preparing invoices, and mailing/emailing them.
  • Maintain customer files in our accounting software and reconcile Accounts Receivable subsidiaries to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
  • Contact customers for collections on past due accounts and make collection calls as needed.
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices for payment, including checking invoices for accuracy, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring all invoices have appropriate signatures.
  • Enter invoices into our accounting software, cut and mail checks, and file paid invoices.
  • Verify that a signed W-9 is on file prior to payment and maintain vendor files.
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable subsidiaries to the general ledger on a monthly basis and review vendor statements to ensure all accounts are kept current.
  • Assist the Accountant with other accounting-related tasks as needed, including preparation of schedules for audits.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience or education in accounting; recent Accounting or Finance graduates considered.
  • Microsoft Office Suite with strong experience in Excel.
