About the Role:

The Director will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing the agency's performance metrics across all DGS divisions. This position will oversee comprehensive human-centric performance and the build-out, implementation, and adoption of a continuous improvement program that stretches across the entire agency, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive performance management, process improvement, and innovation strategy for the agency.
  • Co-create and maintain performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of various DGS divisions within the agency.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts; foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, and ensure continuous professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in process improvement, organizational development or organizational change, innovation, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience leading large-scale change initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and projects, and experience developing and implementing performance measurement systems.
  • Experience with human-centered design principles and their application in organizational development is preferred.
  • Strong background in data analysis and performance metrics to drive decision-making and improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma) to drive process improvements and innovations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a history of working effectively with multiple stakeholders across various departments or sectors.
