Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Specialist to join our team at TPRG. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic communication systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service electronic communication systems, including VOIP, SIP, computer, and networking systems.
  • Respond to customer service-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Test and document system readings for customers.
  • Update customer files and maintain accurate records.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic components.
  • Handle on-call duties on a regular scheduled basis.
  • Train and instruct customers on the proper use of equipment.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Operate various test equipment, including Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multi-meter, and Impedance Meter.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance of customer equipment.
  • Accurately track time sheets, service/installation tickets, and inventory items.
Requirements
  • A two-year electronics degree or equivalent combination of education and 1+ years related field experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in the procedures, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment/systems.
  • Experience with VoIP, telephony, data networks, wireless data, fire alarm, CCTV, sound systems, or nurse call applications preferred.
  • Cisco and Microsoft certifications desirable.
  • Ability to install a project from engineering documents with minimal assistance.
  • Ability to manage small to large projects with little supervision.
Accountability

The Electronics Systems Specialist will be accountable to the Project Manager. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, employees, and customers of the company.
