Summary

The Field Safety Representative II champions the Company's IIF (Incident and Injury Free) culture by ensuring that every team member returns home safely each day. This role requires spending 100% of the time in the field, observing and guiding colleagues on the rectification of unsafe practices and conditions. The representative may oversee junior Field Safety Representatives and Coordinators, promoting positive behavior through acknowledgment and rewards. This position serves as a valuable resource for colleagues by addressing safety inquiries and sharing insights from past experiences. The representative integrates with the project team and proactively engages with a hands-on approach to enhance project safety, quality, and productivity (SQP).

Roles and Responsibilities

The Field Safety Representative II is expected to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas to perform the role safely, productively, and effectively.   • Advocates for the Company's IIF Culture by serving as a Safety Resource on the Project
  • Assists in ensuring Project Compliance with all Safety Regulations and Standards
  • Facilitates or Oversees Case Management
  • Ensures a Secure Work Environment
  • Participates in Training and Certification Programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a safety-related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete construction and safety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must obtain OSHA 30-hour certification within 3 months of employment.
