Position Overview

Vascular Wellness is dedicated to providing exceptional vascular access solutions to patients across the Southeastern United States. Our team of skilled professionals employs advanced techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure outstanding patient outcomes in various environments. Our clinicians deliver mobile, on-site, and on-call vascular access services, along with consultation and program management, becoming integral members of the healthcare team.

We are in search of enthusiastic and qualified individuals to join our expanding team as Vascular Access Specialists. This role is ideal for those looking to enhance their experience in specialized nursing. Comprehensive training is available for candidates with limited experience, and those with certifications such as Certified Medical Assistant, Surgical Technician, Paramedic, or EMT are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

As a Vascular Access Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our vascular access team. You will work independently within a structured, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing equipment and supplies necessary for procedures as directed by the Vascular Access Clinician.
  • Support patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
  • Monitor the procedural clinician to ensure adherence to all procedural steps.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Assist in the disassembly of sterile fields.
  • Understand OSHA Exposure protocols and manage bodily fluids appropriately.
  • Travel to various facilities as assigned by the Administrator on Call.
  • Perform additional tasks within the scope of your qualifications as required.

Qualifications:

  • Active certification as NC CNA I or II, Certified Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or EMT; or a Surgical Technician certificate, in good standing.
  • Compliance with HIPAA/HITECH regulations in all activities.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with potential travel exceeding 60 miles to client facilities.
  • Complete all necessary training modules, credentialing paperwork, and skills assessments.

Work Schedule: Typically, shifts are scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, with the possibility of extended or adjusted hours based on patient and company needs.
