Position Overview
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Role Summary
This position is designed to assist clients and sales personnel by executing moderately complex daily administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations and documentation management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support for commercial lending to Relationship Managers.
- Review and process loan disbursements.
- Manage and administer commercial loans, including recording new loans, establishing relevant documentation, processing payments, and maintaining loan records.
- Gather credit information and verify adequate loan collateral.
- Calculate loan-related items and charges, including interest and payment schedules.
- Assist lending officers with tasks such as fund disbursement and new loan extensions.
- Address client inquiries regarding banking products, services, accounts, and policies; facilitate new account openings; promote cross-selling opportunities; investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
- Prepare loan documentation, notifications, and periodic reports related to loans.
- Aid in maintaining Relationship Managers' portfolios by resolving loan, collateral, and deposit exceptions, as well as addressing overdue accounts.
- Identify clients' operational requirements and recommend suitable banking products/services to fulfill these needs.
- Provide comprehensive assistance to clients in all aspects of their banking relationship, including loans, deposits, and additional services.
- Authorize payments and fees for commercial client overdrafts.
- Approve and process withdrawals for commercial clients on lines of credit.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, insurance firms, title companies, and various professionals.
- Assist in the procurement of appraisals, flood determinations, and UCC filings, and maintain familiarity with OFAC regulations.
- Collaborate closely with Bankers, Underwriters, Loan Closers, and legal documentation teams to ensure successful loan closings under supervision.
- Train on loan documentation and funding processes, including familiarity with attorney-prepared documents.
- Work alongside Bankers, Treasury Management, and deposit operations to ensure ongoing monitoring of loans and accounts.
- Process wire transfer requests for clients.
- Provide administrative support to other associates and departments as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively.
Additionally, the following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for this position:
- High school diploma or GED and 2-4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
