Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Identify and repair minor mechanical and electronic issues, utilizing diagnostic computers when necessary
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Assist in facility maintenance duties, including cleaning and organization of the shop
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems, working with senior technicians as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • One (1) year or more experience in transportation maintenance, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
