About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske. As a Technician II, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, working independently to diagnose and repair complex issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all levels of vehicle systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with engines, transmissions, and other major components
  • Work closely with customers to ensure their vehicles are safe and reliable
  • Collaborate with other technicians to share knowledge and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and tools through ongoing training and education

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle repair and maintenance
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical examination
