About the Job

Penske is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician Mechanic III to join our team in Louisville, KY. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Work with our team to ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in automotive or diesel repair; ASE certification a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
