Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Service Worker to join our Deaf Services team. As a Direct Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive assessments and reviews to outline rehabilitative goals and interventions.
  • Participate in the development of individualized action plans and attend treatment meetings.
  • Document daily progress and communicate with team members and service providers.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling to clients.
  • Monitor and document medication administration and ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Attend training and maintain certification of required trainings.
  • Provide crisis intervention and access emergency services as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED and 1 year related experience.
  • Must be fluent in ASL.
  • Strongly prefer candidates with a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and use good judgment.
  • Strong computer skills and high energy level.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured vehicle.
