We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at The Learning Center for the Deaf. As a key member of our audiology department, you will provide comprehensive audiological services to our outpatient population, including pediatric and adult patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hearing aid evaluations, fittings, adjustments, and repairs, including in-house and factory repairs.
- Provide patient education on advanced technology hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Complete cochlear implant candidacy evaluations, initial activations, and follow-up programming/mapping, as well as troubleshooting.
- Assist the Director with community outreach and education by providing hearing screenings, lectures, and conference tabling to local senior organizations, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes.
- Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) or Ph.D. from an accredited university program.
- Massachusetts State Licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association.
- Minimum of three years of experience in pediatric and adult audiological services.
- American Sign Language preferred, with a willingness to learn required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $72,000 to $78,000 annually, depending on experience.
