About the Job

At Danone North America, we're seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in City of Industry, California. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you'll play a critical role in driving process improvements and implementing Integrated Work Systems (IWS) to enhance our production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of IWS for the site, ensuring seamless integration with Daily Direction Setting, Daily Management Systems, and other relevant processes.
  • Develop and execute a portion of the overall Continuous Improvement roadmap, focusing on delivering results in SQCDMN areas.
  • Provide internal coaching to site leadership teams on CI system implementation, empowering them to make breakthrough improvements in OE/Site Capacity.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency gains through reduction of Planned and Unplanned Downtime, contributing to yearly productivity and OE goals.
  • Establish a culture of empowerment and rigor by building capability in leaders to develop equipment owners in their sites through IWS.
  • Partner with multiple functions (EHS, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to facilitate CI system integration and improvement.
  • Spends significant time on the production floor daily to drive focus and results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • JIPM certification, 6 sigma certification, and/or TPM/IWS demonstrated mastery preferred.
  • At least 8 years of demonstrated experience within a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing leadership experience in positions of increasing responsibility, demonstrating excellence in results delivery and standardization of processes.
  • Experience with manufacturing in a FDA regulated environment, preferably within a food and/or liquid processing manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with the entire organization.
  • Proven ability to improve results & increase efficiency through practical application of CI principles.
  • Developed leadership skills and ability to lead in accordance with our leadership principles of Danone Behaviors.
  • Experience leading an organization through a culture change with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge and capability to train others on IWS, Direction Setting, and Daily Management systems.
