Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop maintenance and reliability strategies across the manufacturing site
  • Implement and oversee predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance operations and equipment reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing efficiency and safety
  • Manage and mentor a 100+ employee maintenance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Oversee the budget and resources for the maintenance department
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with TPM, RCM, FMEA, and RCA with a proven track record of improving maintenance reliability and efficiency
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation
  • Working knowledge of Safety Standards, GMPs, and sanitary design for equipment specifications, installations, and/or modifications
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), as well as other software programs (i.e. Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project)
  • Excellent project management, project scoping, estimating, and scheduling skills
  • Understanding of the ability to utilize and ability to teach appropriate continuous improvement tools to deliver sustainable results
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and motivate others
