Quality Improvement Specialist

Unison Behavioral Health Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering our Quality Improvement Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct chart reviews to ensure compliance with client care standards, federal, state, and Mental Health Board regulations.
  • Track service delivery trends, patterns, and gaps, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans and training programs to educate and advise clinical staff on best documentation practices.
  • Coordinate the Health and Safety program, including documentation related to drills and facility inspections.
  • Assist with scheduling, preparing materials, and performing other administrative tasks related to Quality Improvement and Medical Records activities.
  • Investigate client complaints, conduct interviews, and follow up with corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field, business management, or health care administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the mental health field; experience in Quality Improvement or process improvement is preferred.
  • Licensed LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, RN preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (including data entry, formulas, and pivot tables).
