Your Opportunity:

We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about the culinary field to become a part of our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be innovative, driven, and eager to enhance their culinary skills.

Successful applicants will have prior experience in a professional kitchen setting, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate with culinary leadership to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and the restaurant's concept.

The Cook will assist the Chef in the preparation and production of food items for various dining services, including cafeteria, banquet, and fine dining. This role also involves maintaining a supportive leadership presence to ensure adequate production levels from the kitchen staff.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Enhance your knowledge and skills in various cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying)
  • Gain experience with knives and kitchen equipment
  • Reproduce and execute recipes accurately
  • Maintain consistency in food preparation
  • Learn to minimize food waste through effective utilization
  • Collaborate with a world-class culinary team
  • Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking (e.g., chopping vegetables, cutting meat)
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Ensure proper storage of food and other items
  • Oversee the quality of ingredients used

What We Are Looking For:

  • Active Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain it
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Capacity to remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Desire to exceed expectations
  • Energetic and positive personality
