Job Summary:

The Commercial Banker position is within our Private Client Group, focusing on high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, commercial real estate investors, family offices, and other key market segments. As a Senior Vice President, Commercial Banker, you will be responsible for identifying target markets, developing and establishing a book of new business, and negotiating, structuring, and coordinating the closing of various loan types, including lines of credit, commercial real estate, and business loans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all commercial products, including loans, treasury management, trade service products, and deposits, to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the client experience.
  • Identify deposit-driven commercial relationships and present solutions using treasury management and other services.
  • Represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business.
  • Develop and maintain a superior knowledge of financial industry status and trends.
  • Recommend to senior management those products and services experiencing less than satisfactory performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and ten (10) or more years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and education.
  • Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in financial statement and tax return analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Intermediate skills in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Superb people skills to work within a team environment and successfully develop and retain client relationships.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Compensation:

Salary range for new hires is generally $169,000 to $209,270.00 for Beverly Hills, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
