Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with trading desks to provide operational support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with external technical staff to configure trading sessions and networking connectivity.
  • Maintain and complete daily Exchange Operations, ensuring seamless execution of trades.
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance program, developing and executing test plans to validate new features and releases.
  • Develop and troubleshoot comprehensive test scenarios, ensuring complete test coverage of application functionality.
  • Proactively participate in the review of business requirements to develop test case scenarios that ensure complete test coverage of application functionality.
  • Communicate status efficiently and ensure the team is on track for all manual testing.
  • Provide timely resolution of technical and user-specific issues and requests.
  • Engage in continuous process evaluation and improvement, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or IT/Computer Science.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of JIRA tracking software is a plus.
  • Options and/or equities Industry background is a plus.
  • Experience testing trade execution systems at an exchange or for an ECN/ATS is a plus.
  • Strong team-based and customer-facing verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand the Software Quality Assurance testing process and best practices.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, patient, dynamic, organized, and responsible team player.
