Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team at Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, payroll, employee relations, training, performance management, and people-focused policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics, including leaves and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Process and track leaves of absence and FMLA, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local labor and employment regulations.
  • Communicate and educate human resources policies and procedures for managers and employees, maintaining employee files and records in electronic and paper form to 100% compliance.
  • Coordinate administration of company-sponsored benefit programs, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401K with automatic employer contribution.
  • Special projects as assigned by the HR Director, including recruitment and onboarding activities, employee engagement and relations, performance management, and employee recognition programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven success as an HR Generalist with a minimum 3 years of experience, including experience dealing with employee relations issues and conducting workplace investigations.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Exceptional understanding of general human resources functions, policies, and procedures, as well as strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information, with outstanding skill with MS Office and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to form and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization, with the ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and changing priorities.
