Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Marsh & McLennan Agency. This role offers a challenging opportunity to work with clients, develop and implement insurance strategies, and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing client relationships and developing strategic plans to meet their insurance needs.
  • Coordinating and implementing risk management and insurance programs for clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and underwriters.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or risk management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business insurance, preferably in a similar role.
  • Valid California Fire & Casualty license and a valid Driver's license.
  • CPCU or CIC designation preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as the use of office equipment such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • Travel to client sites will be required, usually within driving distance, but may occasionally consist of a 1 to 2 night stay.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is $84,700 - $180,800 per annum, depending on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Additionally, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
