Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor and manage maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop proactive solutions to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and other industry standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the facilities maintenance team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational school or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in general residential maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Universal HVAC certification or experience with steam systems (as applicable to location).
- Ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator certification within 12 months of hire (as applicable to location).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company motor vehicle review requirements.
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check and 12-panel pre-employment drug test.
The Maintenance Supervisor will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, humidity, and precipitation. The position requires regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Physical DemandsThe Maintenance Supervisor will be required to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy equipment and materials. The position requires frequent walking, climbing, and bending, as well as the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
