Position Overview:
The Patient Registration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for new patients into Option Care Health services. This position is designed to deliver a consistent onboarding experience that fosters trust and ease for both patients and referral partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with patients, referral sources, sales teams, pharmacy, and nursing staff to coordinate discharge processes and secure necessary nursing and delivery services.
- Gather, communicate, and verify all required documentation for new patient referrals.
- Assist patients in securing upfront payments and guide them to financial assistance programs when necessary.
- Support ongoing efforts to maintain clean claims and manage denials by following up on missing paperwork.
- Provide assistance to the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special projects as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Compensation:
The salary for this position will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. The pay range is $19.19 to $31.99 per hour.
