Account Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and supporting effective customer relations with purchasing and end users within assigned territory. You will make decisions independently and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet customer needs. Your key responsibilities will include performing sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers in the assigned territory, researching competitor and industry activity to capture information for the business plan, and handling pricing and negotiating within territory to control profitability. You will also maintain accurate reporting, records, and files vital for accurate management of territory, and connect with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems. You will positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific throughout customer locations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in the sciences. 3-5 years' experience, preferably in sales. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills. Computer ability in MS Office and the internet. Demonstrates the Thermo Fisher values (The Four I's) – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
