Job Summary

The Director of Financial Reporting and Analytics will serve as a key interface for all financial analysis and reporting support for Parallon across multiple service lines with a focus on Utilization Review Services. This leader will be responsible for the strategic direction, delivery, and execution of financial reporting, reporting tools, and custom/ad-hoc reporting needs and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, and grow resources to ensure continuity and consistency for all Financial Analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with other analytics resources within Parallon to integrate and identify enhancements to management reporting and information.
  • Serve as business owner and subject matter expert for reporting tools and services, including standard reporting systems and ad-hoc reporting and analysis products.
  • Develop reports and tools to analyze and interpret financial and statistical information to enable executive management to review operating results.
  • Build a culture of quality and review that ensures completeness and accuracy of all reporting deliverables.
  • Determine new ways to analyze and visualize data and information to provide operational decision-making value.
  • Maintain effective communication with Parallon and HCA Healthcare executive leadership teams and field leadership teams on the current accuracy and status of reports and reporting tools.
  • Provide complex ad-hoc financial, statistical, and operational reports and analyses as requested by management teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Parallon departments and the Parallon Shared Service Centers to help ensure consistent accumulation and reporting of information across different areas and departments.
  • Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day management and accuracy of Parallon's data via knowledge and understanding of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and flow of data, including future migrations to enterprise cloud platforms.
  • Provide reporting support and guidance to Parallon corporate users and Parallon's Shared Service Centers.
  • Understand various Business Intelligence tools and their uses throughout the organization and ensure Parallon's consistency and leadership across the enterprise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or analytics required or appropriate experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 years in progressive leadership roles with emphasis in areas of analytics and financial operations.
  • CPA or Master's of Analytics considered a plus.
