Job Summary:

The San Diego Padres are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Video Coordinator to support the Player Development department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for collecting and distributing video and data for coaching staff and players. This is a seasonal, non-exempt position that requires flexibility and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and upload video for assigned Minor League Affiliate using BATS software for all games during regular season/post season
  • Collect video and data from bullpens, batting practice, and defensive work
  • Assist coaching staff with miscellaneous video and related projects
  • Represent the Club in a positive and professional manner at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with BATS, Trackman Portable, Edgertronic cameras, etc. is a plus, but not necessary
  • Previous experience with an MLB or NCAA Baseball organization is a plus, but not necessary
  • Must be able to correctly identify pitch types
  • Must provide outstanding attention to detail during data and video collection
  • Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
  • Proficient computer skills including moderate experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, and general knowledge of basic office equipment use including copier, fax, and printer
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and effectively work well with all employees and outside vendors in a collaborative, respectful manner
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multi-task, and manage projects on a strict deadline
  • Maintain consistent, punctual, and regular attendance
  • Maintain professional demeanor with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability
