Job Overview:
The State of South Carolina is seeking a dedicated Practical Nursing Specialist to join our team at the Coastal Regional Center. This role is essential in providing compassionate care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Work Schedule:
This position offers flexible shifts, including:
  • 1st shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm
  • 2nd shift: 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm
  • 3rd shift: 10:45 pm - 7:15 am

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer routine medications and treatments as per established protocols and guidelines.
2. Monitor and assess the health status of residents, reporting any changes to the appropriate medical personnel.
3. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all individuals under care.
4. Ensure accurate documentation of all care provided and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Participate in various activities and support initiatives as directed by supervisory staff.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • Licensure as a Practical Nurse in South Carolina.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
