About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at OMRON. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Leadership: Provide strong leadership and expertise to ensure OMRON's products are designed and manufactured in accordance with our quality standards, process guidelines, and best practices.
  • Quality Improvement: Use KPIs to ensure business quality targets are met and quality improvement initiatives are effective.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Global Quality (GQ) and Global Sales and Service (OEXs) partners to maintain strong alignment on quality processes and priorities and to foster collaborative and productive relations.
  • Compliance: Own and maintain the QMS (ISO-9001) and EMS (ISO-14001) compliance for the business including all associated documentation, organizational training, internal and external audits, and planning and execution of continuous improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional quality team (dotted-line) from Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warranty, and Service to ensure organizational quality goals are met and quality improvement initiatives are well-planned and successfully executed.
  • Culture: Foster a culture of empowerment, collaboration, trust, and respect-for-all within the organization.
  • Representation: Represent OMRON in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a four-year college or related technical school. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance. Prior management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge: Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 implementation. Sound understanding of Six Sigma methodologies and facilitating process improvement projects using PDCA, DMAIC methods or similar.
  • Skills: Strong leader with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent team builder with proven leadership abilities and well-developed emotional intelligence. Strong analytical and organizational skills to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Tools: Working knowledge of software tools (Office365, MS Teams/SharePoint). Thorough knowledge of JSM and Salesforce as quality tools.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $155,000 a year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
  • Performance-Based Bonus: This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program.
