Position Overview:
Our client is undergoing a significant transformation in their fraud management operations. We are assisting in the establishment of a new fraud intelligence unit that will focus on enhancing real-time fraud prevention measures. This team will engage in incident response by collaborating closely with Cyber Fusion, Cyber Fraud, Cyber Security, and Fraud Operations teams.

Role Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Fraud Intelligence Lead to serve as a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor for our team of five analysts. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in the following areas and will be responsible for guiding a small team in executing these tasks:
  • Assessing and prioritizing fraud alerts from operations.
  • Implementing strategies to mitigate threats to member accounts, including account shutdowns, locks, or holds as necessary.
  • Conducting hands-on interventions on compromised member accounts.
  • Managing cases related to Account Takeover (ATO), Identity Theft, and Mule Accounts.
  • Proactively working to safeguard members and the financial institution.
  • Gaining exposure to cyber fraud, cyber fusion, and cyber intelligence.
  • Performing in-depth analysis on fraud triage and identifying root causes.
