YOUR ROLE:
As a Culinary Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining culinary excellence and operational standards within your designated area during your shift. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
  • Managing food preparation processes and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proposing enhancements to menu offerings while optimizing food costs and presentation.
  • Performing various culinary tasks as needed, including grilling, sautéing, and food prep.
  • Ensuring compliance with all sanitation regulations and company policies.
  • Promoting safety practices and accident prevention measures.
  • Facilitating effective workflow to meet business demands and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Engaging with customers to gather feedback and address any concerns professionally.
  • Developing team members through training and adherence to company protocols.
  • Representing the company positively and inspiring others to do the same.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned.

WHAT WE SEEK:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume culinary environment.
  • Strong knowledge of menu development, including soups, sauces, and various proteins.
  • Understanding of food and labor cost management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that may include lifting and moving items up to 25 lbs.
