Medical Assistant Specialist

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a skilled Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our medical staff in delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical support to medical staff, including vital signs, blood draws, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing examination rooms, and ensuring a smooth patient flow.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
• Perform routine laboratory tests, collect specimens, and prepare them for analysis.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is mandatory.
• 1 year of recent experience in a medical setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient engagement.
Benefits:
Bon Secours Mercy Health offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, dental coverage, vision plan, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and educational assistance programs.
