About the Role

The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all food for the restaurant and room service. They will manage the kitchen staff, monitor food and labor costs, and assist the Executive Chef in creating and implementing menu and production changes.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be bilingual in Spanish (a plus but not required), and have extensive experience in various food cultures. They will also possess strong organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical insurance, paid time off for vacation and sick time, eligibility to participate in the company's 401(k) program with employer matching, and discounts on hotels and restaurants.
