Position Overview
As a Senior Manager in our Pricing Strategy team, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of business, industry trends, and client needs to shape pricing strategies and conduct financial modeling for comprehensive pricing proposals. Your role will encompass:

  • Collaborating with Sales and Account Services to devise pricing recommendations and negotiation strategies aimed at achieving revenue and profitability goals.
  • Developing a deep understanding of PBM and Enterprise profitability levers, including retail networks and specialty drugs.
  • Presenting insights and proposals to Executive Leadership during critical approval meetings.
  • Addressing inquiries in real-time to support executive review processes.
  • Reviewing financial sections of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to define client support scope and forecast accurate cost assumptions.
  • Assessing the impact of legislative decisions on client contracts.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 3-4 professionals.
  • Conducting ongoing budget assessments and managing client strategies.
  • Handling audit and financial inquiries as they arise.

Key Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
  • A background in pricing or financial analysis.
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in managing large datasets.
  • The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Experience in establishing processes and executing them effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proven track record of using business analytics to solve data-driven challenges.
  • The ability to convey complex analytical findings in an understandable manner.
  • Experience in collaborating with clients to develop analytical models that support CVS Caremark products.
  • Expertise in extracting and analyzing large datasets to derive meaningful insights.
  • The capability to prioritize competing client requests effectively.
  • A collegial and professional demeanor, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Experience Requirements
7+ years of relevant professional experience, including:
  • At least 4 years in financial analysis, pricing, or underwriting.
  • 3 or more years in the healthcare sector.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the PBM or Specialty Pharmacy/Home Infusion industry is a plus, along with:
  • Previous experience with contracts, RFPs, or capture processes.

Education
A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Finance or Business. A Master's Degree is preferred.
