Key Responsibilities

The Mortgage Originator/Underwriter will collaborate with other members of the lending team and borrowers throughout the mortgage process, working towards the goal of expanding economic opportunity in low-income communities.

This is a full-time position, which may be considered for a hybrid work environment, and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Requirements
  • Preferred: Lending experience and prior experience working or volunteering with social justice organizations, community development groups, CDFIs, or other organizations supporting our target market, including low income and BIPOC communities.
  • Preferred: Mission-driven and team-based work environment.
  • Preferred: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
