Job Title: Senior Program Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Financial Analyst to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our Defense Mission Systems Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing financial management and analysis support to our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Provide end-to-end financial management for assigned programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting and analysis systems to guide the financial management of individual programs and contracts.
  • Program Performance: Assess program performance and track performance against program budgets.
  • Financial Compliance: Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies.
  • Program Planning: Establish and define program plan requirements for assigned work.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform complex financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, statements, estimates, and other program deliverables.
  • Subcontract Management: Monitor the status of financial accounts, ensuring that contract charges accurately reflect the correct labor hours and rates, subcontractor costs, and other direct costs.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Support other ad-hoc reporting and/or activities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience or 10 years with a Master's degree, or 16 years of experience with no degree.
  • Experience: Experience working with financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis, and incorporating milestone schedules into all activities.
  • Contract Experience: Prior experience working on cost-plus-award-fee (CPAF) or cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) contracts.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Citizenship: US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: Excel proficiency, experience with Deltek CostPoint, and knowledge of Federal Accounting Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and meet recurring deadlines.
