At The Rock Creek Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Operational Due Diligence team as a Vice President. This role is a critical component of our investment decision-making process, and we are looking for an individual who can bring a high level of expertise and integrity to the position.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Due Diligence: Conduct thorough operational due diligence on investments across private equity, private credit, real estate, public equities, and other alternative investments and emerging financial instruments and funds.
- Risk Management: Identify and understand the risks associated with the operations of private and alternative investment strategies and evaluate how risks are addressed in areas of operations, compliance.
- Quality Control: Evaluate the overall quality of fund systems, controls, infrastructure, and personnel to identify issues and risks relevant to the overall investment decision.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Forensics Journalism, Business, Law, Accounting, or other relevant major.
- Experience: Experience in the alternatives space, including private equity and hedge funds.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, general PC experience, and high proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and SharePoint.
- Personal Qualities: High degree of integrity and ethics, ability to work with fast pace and to multi-task, team player with interest in professional growth and development.
