Position Summary
As a key member of the BCP Maintenance team, the Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee the design and installation of new or replacement electrical and automation systems. This role involves developing standards for reliability and establishing guidelines for engineering and maintenance activities related to these systems. The engineer will also ensure that engineering drawings and technical documentation are consistently updated.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct the design and execution of electrical projects and initiatives within the facility.
- Create comprehensive shutdown work plans for electrical system upgrades.
- Maintain up-to-date engineering drawings, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
- Provide leadership to maintenance personnel and external contractors.
- Optimize the management of electrical spare parts, including developing efficient supply contracts and minimizing inventory costs.
- Design and implement training programs for maintenance staff focusing on operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on electrical safety throughout the facility.
- Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support various maintenance activities across BCP as needed.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an electrical engineering capacity.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing with a focus on automation project implementation, demonstrating successful cost and performance outcomes.
