About the Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled Hospitalists to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Hospitalist, you will provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour call coverage and round on admitted patients, including nursery
  • Support the Emergency Department by providing consultative services and admission to unassigned patients
  • Collaborate with community pediatricians as requested with appropriate notice and sign-out
Qualifications

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent
  • Completed residency in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
  • West Virginia Medical License eligible
  • Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Pediatrics
