Our specialties include urgent care, preventive health, dental services, and surgical procedures. We tailor vaccination protocols to suit the specific needs of each pet based on factors such as age, breed, and living environment. Regular health assessments, along with nutritional and behavioral guidance, are integral to our approach to maintaining the well-being of our patients. Our advanced surgical suite is equipped to handle a range of procedures, including soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic interventions, and routine spays and neuters. We also provide radiography and urgent care services during operational hours.

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients
  • Collection and analysis of laboratory samples
  • Diagnostic imaging and nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases
  • Administration of medications and clear communication of treatment plans to clients
  • Surgical preparation and assistance, including anesthetic management

It is essential to be prepared for potential exposure to unpleasant odors, noises, and animal-related hazards.

Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A strong work ethic and a positive team-oriented attitude
  • Timeliness and readiness to work
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred; certification as a CVT/RVT/LVT is advantageous
  • Availability on weekends
  • Exceptional customer service skills and precise communication abilities
  • Competence in interpreting medical records and documenting client histories
  • Knowledge of preventive care, surgical techniques, and hospital operations
  • Ability to safely and effectively restrain animals
  • Proficiency in sample collection, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples
  • Experience in laboratory sample processing and testing
  • Skill in positioning and capturing radiographs, with dental radiography experience being a plus
  • Expertise in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
  • A proactive approach to personal and professional development
  • A willingness to accept constructive feedback to enhance hospital efficiency
