Job Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance of financial ledgers and the preparation of financial statements for a number of small entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, recording cash receipts, reconciling bank statements, and providing supporting schedules and documentation for tax preparation and management review as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record journal entries for a number of ledgers.
  • Process accounts payable invoices and generate checks.
  • Record cash receipts and reconcile bank statements.
  • Assist in filing reports required by outside agencies.
  • Prepare and submit any schedules or reports requested by management.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timely reporting of financial information.
  • Exercise judgment in financial, operational, or transactional analysis.

Requirements
  • 4-year degree in Accounting or the equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
