Job Summary

As a key member of the Hogan Transportation team, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of assigned logistics accounts. This includes accepting and arranging loads, communicating with customers, and ensuring overall account success. Additionally, the Account Manager will be responsible for meeting internal and customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain strong client relationships and understand the client's business and industry.
* Collaborate closely with sales to onboard and develop clients.
* Demonstrate ability to quote and negotiate new business with existing clients directly and utilizing spot boards.
* Build and update loads.
* Schedule client appointments via Transportation Management System (TMS) web portals.
* Track and trace loads.
* Conduct quarterly and/or yearly business reviews depending on client needs.
* Assist with Accounts Receivables and maintain payment terms.
* Maintain a clear understanding of growth potential, total spend, and volume vs Hogan Transportation's wallet share.
* Work in a team environment and support team members.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* 3-5 years of experience required, with 3PL, logistics, and transportation experience preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
* TMS or McLeod experience a plus.
* Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
