Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Retirement Plan Enrollment Consultant II who will take charge of organizing, leading, and conducting educational sessions for our retirement plan clients and their employees. This role requires strong communication skills for both group presentations and individual consultations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute enrollment sessions for both new and existing clients.
  • Deliver educational content to clients and their employees through in-person meetings and phone consultations, with travel as necessary.
  • Assist employees in formulating personalized retirement strategies.
  • Create and distribute enrollment communication materials.
  • Respond to client and participant inquiries via email.
  • Provide educational support for various retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), and defined benefit plans.
  • Develop and adjust employee education programs based on client needs.
  • Present educational content to clients, employees, and financial advisors via phone or video conferencing.
  • Stay informed about evolving retirement plan regulations.
  • Generate and present reports on plans and participants using the Relius recordkeeping system and Crystal reports.
  • Offer training assistance to team members as required.
  • Act as a lead resource to resolve client-related issues.
  • Conduct educational meetings for retirement plan clients both on-site and virtually.
  • Possess the ability to engage effectively with groups and individuals regarding retirement plans and investment options.
  • Enhance educational materials and presentations for participant training.
  • Adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the retirement industry is required.
  • Possession of Series 65 license is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Relius record-keeping systems is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, CRM databases, PowerPoint, and email.
  • Understanding of IRS and DOL regulations related to qualified plans.
  • Experience in the retirement sector is necessary.
  • Demonstrated professional presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Involves typing, standing, and walking.
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Demands constant mental and visual attention; tasks may be repetitive or varied, necessitating ongoing alertness in an office setting.
  • Typically performed in comfortable working conditions with minimal discomfort.
  • Must comply with company attendance policies.
