Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as rapid response calls, and provide critical care procedures as needed.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including charting and transcribing orders.
- Participate in health teaching and counseling to promote optimal health and wellness among residents.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Georgia.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric setting.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make rapid, accurate decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a self-directed work group and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with elderly populations and understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
