Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Park Springs. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information. You will also supervise and train Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Medication Assistants (CMAs) to ensure they are providing the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications and performing treatments
  • Supervise and train CNAs and CMAs to ensure they are providing high-quality care
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in health teaching and counseling to promote resident well-being
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the State of Georgia
  • At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric setting
  • Ability to work in a self-directed work group
  • Passion for working with elderly individuals
Working Conditions:

The LPN will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to residents in a variety of settings. You will be required to stand, walk, and lift residents, as well as push and transfer them using equipment such as wheelchairs and geri chairs. You must be able to lift up to 125 pounds unassisted or with assistance, and transport residents weighing up to 150 pounds. You may be exposed to communicable diseases, including HIV and HBV viruses.
