Job Title: Nurse - Long-Term Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Verovian Nursing Agency. As a Nurse - Long-Term Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and comfortable environment.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct nursing care and support to residents in the Long-Term Care facility.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor resident health conditions and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and progress notes.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents and their families.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 1 year's nursing experience in long-term care or a related setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
