About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and clerical support to the Long Term Care department and other departments as needed.
  • Perform basic nursing and household duties to promote a resident-directed model of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Current Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • Completion of 12 hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.
