  • Distribute appointment reminders and address any obstacles to completion.
  • Collect and manage records from referrals and diagnostic testing.
  • Provide administrative assistance with lab and imaging result notifications.
  • Prepare necessary patient correspondence as required.
Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare office environment. Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations is crucial, as well as experience dealing with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans.

This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.
