Position Overview:

Are you enthusiastic about Tier 1 Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions? Do you aspire to create a WMS that enhances the delivery of beloved brands to consumers? If so, CJ Logistics America is seeking a WMS Solutions Architect to conceptualize and implement a cutting-edge WMS solution. The WMS Solutions Architect at CJ Logistics America will play a pivotal role in the successful deployment of the new WMS. This position serves as a project leader, ensuring the effective execution of implementations and various WMS initiatives. This role demands a high level of technical expertise and analytical skills.

Salary: $90,957 - $115,970

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project team in delivering system implementations within new or existing warehouse settings. Ensure accountability for WMS implementation execution to meet operational goals based on warehouse KPIs and customer SLAs.
  • Act as a WMS subject matter expert, aligning system capabilities with desired processes and outcomes in collaboration with the project team and customer specifications.
  • Assess system and operational performance to pinpoint issues or areas for enhancement, working closely with vendors on solution development and resolution.
  • Translate customer requirements regarding data integration (EDI, API, SFTP, etc.) and evaluate the impact on WMS solutions.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to create project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Analyze current and/or planned warehouse environments, identify compatibility with standard solutions, understand change management activities, and contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop functional and technical design documentation.
  • Conduct system configuration, development, implementation, and testing activities within project scope.
  • Serve as a WMS subject matter expert for the Operations Team, providing hands-on training as required.
  • Facilitate the transition from current to future processes and systems as a change agent, assisting operational and technology teams.
  • Mentor and guide other team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with WMS platforms such as Korber, Blue Yonder, and Softeon.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading WMS implementations, focusing on warehouse operations and continuous improvement, or other relevant experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Advantage Architect, Webwise Page Editor, SSRS, Bartender, and T-SQL.
  • SQL Server experience with complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
  • Experience managing source code repositories and maintaining version control systems.
  • Familiarity with REST API calls.
  • Expertise in SQL Service Broker/JSON.
  • Availability for on-call support for critical issues as a Level 3.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Ability to learn rapidly and work independently or collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in identifying potential issues and formulating contingency plans.
  • Proven capability as a team leader while managing personal priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% or more is required.
  • Commitment to driving teams towards results while maintaining integrity.
  • Ability to navigate and work in a warehouse environment.
