Position Summary:
CJ Logistics America is initiating a transition to SAP S/4 HANA for our North American Division into a unified global framework. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the SAP/FICO Systems Manager is tasked with overseeing the effective deployment and continuous operation of the CJLA ERP systems from both functional and technical standpoints. This role collaborates with various Information Technology sectors within the United States and the global CJ Logistics network, including Infrastructure, Application Development, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Freight Forwarding (FF), Business Intelligence (BI), and Data & Analytics. The position will engage with numerous internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders and representatives across all operational areas such as Sales, Engineering, Account Management, Operations, and Finance.
Compensation: $150,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison facilitating SAP S/4 HANA support between the Global SAP Support team and the CJ Logistics Americas Finance & Operations divisions.
- Provide expertise in various business processes including FICO, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM) within the SAP framework.
- Establish and lead a team of business analysts while engaging the global SAP Support team to ensure alignment of CJ system processes with industry best practices and global business requirements.
- Oversee business analysts and global developers to ensure the successful execution of ERP system implementations, including project timelines and resource allocation.
- Encourage business analysts and functional representatives to continuously enhance business processes by identifying improvement opportunities, supporting process re-engineering initiatives, recommending efficient ERP practices, and implementing necessary changes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities within the Information Systems/Information Technology organization and across CJ's functional areas.
- Assist in the planning for global support of SAP and other ERP-related applications deployed worldwide.
- Manage the business analyst team to ensure adequate support levels for the ERP system user community.
- Stay informed about new ERP application offerings and encourage business analysts to do the same.
- Foster collaboration between business analysts and corporate IS/IT resources.
- Support the development of CJ Logistics' support structure and manage relationships as needed.
- Collaborate with representatives from various departments to ensure that all system design requirements meet business needs.
- Oversee the process where end users translate general requirements into system specifications.
- Identify and document requirements for application configuration, implementation, and training.
- Manage the creation of test plans and training materials relevant to business processes.
- Plan and oversee system testing required for software upgrades and functionality implementations.
- Coordinate user training related to ERP implementations as necessary.
- Work with remote team members, outsourced resources, and users to effectively complete tasks.
- Engage with external customers and vendors to define business processes or resolve issues as required.
- Support the Finance team during the closing processes.
- Post-implementation, manage issue resolution, including identification, tracking, and communication of resolutions to users.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction within the IT organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Planning.
- Proven experience in managing technical teams.
- Experience in developing business processes.
- Proficient in managing and implementing SAP systems, particularly SAP S/4 HANA.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills with individuals from diverse disciplines, including C-level executives.
- Analytical skills to interpret user needs and translate them into application requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel 10% or less.
