Director of Sales Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Sales Development to lead our training program and shape our organization's next generation of sales leaders. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive training program that prepares Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to advance into Business Development Manager roles within six months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and enhance our current sales development program.
  • Design and implement a robust training program covering all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to SDRs, helping them develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their career goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate SDR performance, using key metrics to identify areas for improvement and success. Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to align training programs with overall company goals and sales strategies.
  • Onboard new SDRs, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, encouraging SDRs to take ownership of their growth and development.
Qualifications:
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of success in staffing sales, with deep knowledge of the sales process and techniques.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance metrics and drive results.
