Medical Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Liaison to join our private physician-owned gastroenterology clinic, Gastroenterology of the Rockies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful PR campaigns, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute PR strategies to increase physician referrals, community awareness, and patient engagement.
- Create and manage content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and email marketing.
- Develop relationships with physicians, medical staff, community partners, and media contacts to promote the clinic's services and initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate community events, outreach programs, and health fairs to increase the clinic's visibility and patient engagement.
- Monitor and report on PR KPIs and metrics, including media coverage and social media engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, media opportunities, and community events to identify potential opportunities for the clinic.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns.
- Experience in event planning and community outreach programs.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of PR KPIs and metrics with the ability to analyze and report on data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and content management systems.
